Each have highly entertaining move-sets and special attacks that draw influence from their films. Just watching gameplay videos of them on YouTube, you can tell the designers left no stone unturned.
If you're like me and had save data from Mortal Kombat X, there's no need to worry. The game will sync with it upon installation so that all your previous data is still usable. One thing that initially caught me off guard was that I couldn't use all the fighters or gameplay modes after the game finished installing. I passed some time messing around in the Krypt, picking up some bonus items, and when I came back, everything was there. Just a heads-up to anyone who may be confused when they first play - it may take a little while for all the DLC to "load up," but once it does, it's all gravy from there.
